Washington State double digit on 8.5" part of 36lb limit
Big congrats to Roger Davis and having an epic day on the water! "Season trout opener today, a bunch of lakes opened in Western Washington, so I took my son out to my favorite big bass haunt and came up big. While he fished for trout I threw a Hiroshima 8.5" trout which got the two biggest, a 7-0 and a rare double digit nothern Largie that topped out at 10-3. Big striper on a 10" Hiro
Shawn Chen of Thrasher Magazine caught this big hen (on the right) while fishing with guide Billy Driessen on the Sacramento River. The fish was caught on a 10" Hiro boat side after triggering her with a quick couple reel pops. Unfortunately due to the fish choking the bait too deep a gill was damaged and the fish was unable to be released. Congrats on a beautiful fish Shawn.
