"Season trout opener today, a bunch of lakes opened in Western Washington, so I took my son out to my favorite big bass haunt and came up big. While he fished for trout I threw a Hiroshima 8.5" trout which got the two biggest, a 7-0 and a rare double digit nothern Largie that topped out at 10-3.
I caught them both fishing wood around pad edges. Slow roll with quick intermittent reel turns past cover.
Also got them on a 7" wacky Senko, a jig, and a 68 weedless hudd. My best 5 were just over 36 pounds"
