Big congrats to Roger Davis and having an epic day on the water! "Season trout opener today, a bunch of lakes opened in Western Washington, so I took my son out to my favorite big bass haunt and came up big. While he fished for trout I threw a Hiroshima 8.5" trout which got the two biggest, a 7-0 and a rare double digit nothern Largie that topped out at 10-3. Dr. Watson was on the scent trail this last weekend. He was fortunate to get out and unlock a nice 33lb bag of northern strainers on the 8.5" Hiro. "All fish were caught in 3' of visibility outside of emerging pads right on a break from 4 to 10' with a light breeze. Fish were aggressively eating the bait after making 5-6 turns followed by a couple twitches to make the bait walk wider and abruptly.
